Traffic rules and regulations
Traffic rules and regulations are designed to improve road safety
and enhance the efficiency of the transport system. It is essential
that they recognise the great variety of vehicles and means of
mobility. The needs of all age groups and special groups, such as
disabled people, must also be taken into account. Traffic rules and
regulations are laid down in the Road Traffic Act.
