Notice of invitation to apply for television and radio programme licences. (The deadline for applications for radio broadcasting was 30 September 2010, at 12.00 noon)
The Government of Finland invites applications for the following programme licences:
- programme licences for radio broadcasting in terrestrial mass communications networks
- one programme licence for television broadcasting in
multiplex E. The transmission technology used in the multiplex is
DVB-T and the packaging technology MPEG2.
The invitation is issued in accordance with section 9 of Finland’s
Act on Television and Radio Operations.
Licence applications, including appendices, must be submitted to the Registry of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Yliopistonkatu 5, Helsinki (PO Box 31, FI- 00023 Government). The deadline for applications for radio broadcasting was 30 September 2010, at 12.00 noon, and for applications for television broadcasting 16 August 2010, at 12.00 noon. At the same time the deadline for programme licence applications for television broadcasting in multiplexes B, C and E and for radio broadcasting within the frequency of 99.4 MHz is changed to end on 16 August 2010, at 12.00 noon.
