The Ministry of Transport and Communications website has been awarded the "Accessibility considered" approval.
The approval includes an evaluation model and criteria for website accessibility developed in cooperation with the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired, service design company Adage and the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. The Federation of the Visually Impaired coordinates the process of awarding the approvals.
"Accessibility considered" approval can be awarded to a web site that has defined its most important user cases and meets the related accessibility requirements.
The Federation of the Visually Impaired awards the approval on the basis of an external evaluation.
