Minister of Communications Suvi Lindén visits India to promote Finnish exports on 5-13 December. The purpose of her visit is an exchange of experiences between the countries regarding broadband network construction in particular, and to promote the networking of Finnish companies in India.
During her visit, Ms Lindén will meet the Indian Telecom Minister Kabil Sibal, Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma and the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Sachin Pilot.
The Ministers will for example discuss frequency issues, the Finnish information society strategy and e-government.
